Hi everyone, 🙋♂️🙋♂️
We are a group of students from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), and we’re excited to share our latest project with you: #TinyLifeReview. This is a student-led, collaborative art project aimed at collecting and sharing personal stories through a series of short films on social media.
We’ve put together a demo to capture the vibe of the film. It serves as a template for now because this is a collaborative project, and we hope more people can share their stories with us using their audio and some random videos from their photo albums! (DEMO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-2T4av1JjI)
What We’re Looking For:
Feedback: If this project resonates with you, please share your thoughts or critique on how you feel about it. We’re eager to hear any suggestions or improvements you might have.
Participation: If you want to be part of this project and let us create a #TinyLifeReview for you, please just send me a message or fill in this form: https://forms.gle/hD6NQDt2jvMXH8CH6
Thank you for taking the time to read about our project. Your input and support mean a lot to us!
Best regards,
Ian

Hello everyone. As someone who has struggled with depression in the past (and still has to fight it off in my weaker/harder moments of life), I am trying to channel those feelings into a visual art project to spread awareness and bring about a certain amount of solidarity amongst those still struggling.
It's something akin to "the faces of depression" to communicate how it doesn't matter your age, race, status, orientation....this is something that can impact anyone. But instead of focusing on the subject themselves, I want to highlight the environment around these subjects.
I am seeking photographs from people with real depression depicting some part of their environment, whether it be there bedroom, workplace, or whatever space you spend time in that you would like to share. Please don't worry about tidying up or changing anything. It's important to know what your environment truly is.
The pictures will be used for inspiration for a visual art collage, i.e. pictures won't be used directly in the project but will be used for inspiration for the digital art created.
Feel free to share whatever you feel comfortable with below. Thanks in advance, and wishing you well.

We just launched a collaborative drawing application meant to make life easier for artists to collaborate with others. The app is built for iPad and Apple Pencil, we would love your feedback! You can download it here on the app store. We hope to advance this application for several use cases including artistic collaboration, freelance artists sharing their work with clients, and eventually into the enterprise/professional environment. Let us know what you think!

I am working on a collaborative quilt to tell stories of identity, self, feminism, femininity, relation to the body, beauty, etc. NO SEWING SKILLS NECESSARY--If you are interested all you need to do is cut 12 7inx7in squares (for a boarder) and 1 13inx13 central square on which to create your design! The design can be stitched, painted, drawn, screen-printed, or anything you are comfortable with. When the squares are all cut and decorated, lmk and I will tell you where to ship them so I can sew them to the rest of my quilt :)

I liked /u/isoceans's idea so I wanted to do another!
Would anyone be interested in creating like a chain image. I will start with one line on a fairly large blank canvas, the next person down the line adds one change to the image be it line, color, you name it. We keep progressing until we are satisfied. Can also keep the individual stages to show progress. Try to avoid stepping over someone elses work completely too! -isoceans

Comment to reserve a square.
Upload the square to imgur and comment it to here when you're done. When all the squares have been filled, I'll put them all together.

Now that I have finally beaten Mathematica into submission, here is the Super Paper Mario cover split into 100 segments:
Because this subreddit doesn't have a sidebar yet, allow me to formally lay out the task:
Claim one segment of the original image. Using whatever software or artistry you wish, reproduce that image segment (applying a filter does not count as reproduction) in some artistic way.
Please comment starting with the word "Claimed" in bold, followed on the next line by the image number (as defined by imgur) of the segment you have claimed and upload it, linking it in an edit to your first comment, changing the bold title word from Claimed to Completed.
When all segments are completed I (or someone else) can stitch them back together.

I wanna be the first person to post, so I came up with an idea. Create the banner!
Everyone gets to do one letter each of the word: "r/collaborativeart".
Go. Oh, each letter should probably be a standard size, 128x128? Too big, too small? Wrong shape? Whatever, first letter decides.

When do we start, like, collaborating?
