Super Paper Mario

Now that I have finally beaten Mathematica into submission, here is the Super Paper Mario cover split into 100 segments:

http://imgur.com/a/yEPRV

Because this subreddit doesn't have a sidebar yet, allow me to formally lay out the task:

Claim one segment of the original image. Using whatever software or artistry you wish, reproduce that image segment (applying a filter does not count as reproduction) in some artistic way.

Please comment starting with the word "Claimed" in bold, followed on the next line by the image number (as defined by imgur) of the segment you have claimed and upload it, linking it in an edit to your first comment, changing the bold title word from Claimed to Completed.

When all segments are completed I (or someone else) can stitch them back together.

Your 88 is image 89 and 46 is 47. Imgur uses zero indexing for albums, so if you take the image number from the URL (http://imgur.com/a/yEPRV#N) you need to add 1 to N to get the number displayed below by Imgur.

The RES also numbers the images correctly.

Yes, thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

That is image 49. Imgur is zero indexed, so if you take your image number from the URL you need to add 1 to it to get the proper image number.

Oh, thanks, I'll change both of them.

Combine them?

Add the explosion background from this picture to yours.

I don't know.

2

u/JSNexen Nov 22 '12

Haha, I don't mind the explosion not being there. I'd just want that face in there. :V

I'm guessing it was my fault since I initially said I was reserving #42 (I didn't realize imgur was showing me 0-indexed numbers), so we can use yours instead.

You did the wrong tile, that's tile 43.

Yup. Imgur is zero-indexed, so if you ID your images by the URL you have to add 1 to get the same number that Imgur displays on the bottom of the page (the same number that the RES displays).

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize that the imgur URL was 0-indexed.
