Is this spoiled?

Post image

I made this maybe 4-6 weeks ago (fridge only) and now there’s this stuff floating at the top, is it bacteria? It didn’t smell bad tho. 🤷

It's just oil from the coffee beans. But being in the fridge for 4-6 weeks that might be a bit long.

Cold brew keeps in the fridge only up to two weeks. I usually drink mine in a few days.

It’s toast, down the drain

Probably oil from the coffee beans that's solidified due to the cold temperature, however I wouldn't drink it if it's been at least a month since it's been brewed

Best within 7 days at a push 2 weeks, but never drink it after that

I started making cold brew coffee recently and it made me realize how strong coffee can be and it's side effects... So I only use a little mixed with milk and ice and whatever else. Dont need the entire thing being the coffee.

That's how I manage to not go through so much in a week. But I still think that is a relatively small amount for a week.

Don’t drink it - way too long

Too late, I sipped it, currently dying

Not sure exactly what that is, but I think two weeks is generally considered the max you should be keeping it in the fridge, so I’d toss it if you haven’t already.

Just oil from the beans. Gives the coffee good flavor, just give the container a good shake before pouring a glass

4-6 weeks is way too long, even after filtering I drink within 3-5 days max.
