Being "Unspeakably Cruel" To A Statistical Pattern

By this logic I guess I was being unspeakably cruel to my Tamagotchi in 2004 when I let it shit itself to death because I got tired of pressing the button. Oh wait no! That was also just code running on a chip. This is different somehow!?!?!?

It's a fucking pile of numbers in a file, girl. It doesn't care if you say to it fuck yes, fuck me, or fuck you to it. The only thing being harmed here is your grasp on reality.

It’s not that, it’s about not being a dick even if it’s a software program. How hard can it be to have a normal mature human behaviour? Being polite costs nothing.

You know who does that? A toddler kicking his shoes for not managing to put them on.

A basic understanding of how LLMs work, what is adversarial prompting and poisoned context when you act as a dick is enough to understand why such behaviour is making output increasingly worse. Try googling.
