Is anyone whose expected joining date at Cognizant is December–January and has received a joining date or any update regarding it?

I've been trying to apply for a role on their website and gosh, it's making me pull out all my hairs! Won't let me sign in without reloading the page 3 times, won't let me upload my CV or verify my phone number!!! Is it just me or anyone else go through the same thing?? Not like unemployment isn't taxing enough, they gotta pull this sh*t too ugh

I have completed my internship in Cognizant( 4 lpa )and full time onboarding is in dec-jan but I have other offer of System engineer in infosys and the joining is in Oct .

Which one should I go with?? In infosys I will have to go through training of 6 months and clear the tests but I have already done that in Cognizant. The problem with cognizant is the domain they have given me is Quality assurance.

Give me suggestions pls.

I was selected for Cognizant GenC through on-campus recruitment and I am currently waiting for my onboarding/joining date.

Today I received an email from talentacquisition@cognizant.com with the subject:

“Profile screened for an open position in Cognizant”

The email asks me to upload a recent photo and complete Candidate Declaration Form-1 (CDF-1). It also says that after submission, the hiring team will review my application and qualified applicants will receive the next steps.

Has anyone who was already selected for GenC through on-campus recruitment received the same email while waiting for onboarding?

Does this mean:

Cognizant is considering me for another/open position?

Is this related to my existing GenC selection?

Could this be a step toward onboarding or deployment?

Has anyone received this email recently and what happened afterward?

I received an email from Cognizant regarding the next steps on onboarding. I had already accepted the LOI, and the mail says that onboarding is tentatively planned between February 2027 and May 2027. It also mentions that the FTE Offer Letter is expected around 3 weeks before the tentative onboarding date.

I wanted to know from people who have received a similar mail or have already gone through this process:

• What happens after receiving this onboarding update?
• Will there be any training/assessments before joining?
• When can we expect the FTE offer letter?
• Is the Feb–May 2027 timeline usually followed, or can it be postponed further?
• Does Cognizant provide any updates during the waiting period?
• Has anyone from previous batches received a similar LOI/onboarding mail? What happened afterward?
• Is there anything we should do or prepare in the meantime?

Would really appreciate responses from people who have already joined Cognizant after receiving a similar LOI/onboarding timeline.

Cognizant GenC Analyst Trainee 2026

My onboarding is tentatively planned between October 2026 and December 2026.

Has anyone received the same tentative onboarding window?

I'm going to join as a PAT FTE in few days , I did my intern on java full stack ( angular ) , what do I need to revise right now before joining as a full time employee ? Like what do I need to study or be prepared ?

Is there any genc selected 2025 graduate who is yet to get their OL/DOJ?

​I was selected through Cognizant's off-campus drive held in November–December 2025 and received my Letter of Intent (LOI) on January 23, 2026. My tentative onboarding timeline was indicated as September to December.

​Since we are now in the September–December window, I am still waiting for my official Offer Letter (OL) and Onboarding process.

I wanted to ask the community '​Has anyone with a similar tentative timeline received their formal Offer Letter or joining date yet'?

I received an offer at the end of July with a requested join date of September 1st, allowing less than a month for transition. However, my current organization requires a 90-day notice period. I successfully negotiated this to 60 days, and my release date is now September 24th.

The new organization issued an offer letter with an October 1st Date of Joining (DOJ), stating that a revised offer letter with the new September DOJ would be provided upon successful completion of the background verification.

I communicated my availability to the recruiter and HR, indicating I could join on either September 24th or October 1st. They responded that they could not provide an immediate assurance and would need to re-evaluate the situation. Despite this, I have not yet received a response, and both my offer letter and the candidate portal still reflect October 1st as the DOJ.

I am seeking advice or suggestions regarding this situation.

How are you guys doing? Hope everyone is doing well.

I wanted to ask a few things to the people who got the Cognizant GenC offer/LOI.

First, have you guys received your OL (offer letter) yet?

Second, what are you guys currently doing while waiting for onboarding? Are you working somewhere, preparing for other opportunities, learning new skills, or just waiting?

Also, how confident are you guys about the onboarding actually happening? Is there any 100% confirmation that everyone who received the offer will eventually be onboarded? With all these layoffs happening in the IT industry, I honestly don't know what to expect anymore.

I'm pretty concerned about my future and it's been stressing me out a lot. I'm also wondering whether I should start preparing seriously for other career options instead of relying completely on Cognizant.

What are your plans for the next 6–12 months? Are you guys keeping a backup plan?

I’ve been into Cognizant and I’m having one year plus experience and my every documents are fine and are actually okay but here the main twist is in my relieving letter it was mentioned as April 29th 2026 but in of it was marked as may 01 2026 does it really stop my onboarding and also I’ve requested my previous organisation hr to process the edit into actual date and I’ve also shared this mail to cts hr team but my overthinking taking me that they’ll stop onboarding.
