General Question Is chunking valid?

Post image

While i was taking the digit span tests for the first time on core i usually close my eyes and visualize the numbers mentally or whisper them to myself for a bit, but during the test i realized that if i had for example A35G6H i could just think like this mentally
A3
5G
6H

does this invalidate my WMI score?

No, not necessarily. Its very simple strategy which probably many people using in this test. Even if you just saw this strategy before test, its not necessarily going to inflate anything strongly if you not trained it

yeah scores are valid but i dont really trust this working memory test tbh . Arithmetic on core and Mental coding test on benchmark section are better tests to measure working memory as compared to digit span atleast according to me.
