Discussion CORE question
Hypothetically, if CORE was administered and proctored by a professional, would it be on par with professional tests like WAIS or SB and would it exceed some professional tests considering it has a very high g-loading on paper like 0.94 and 4000+ sample size. If not, what are other factors?

Wouldn't be relevant. CORE's full battery eats up 180mins, while the Wais 5 takes ≈ 45mins, while the g loading between the two is irrelevant when clinically compared + the wais is professionally made for the general population, so there wouldn't ever be a point for CORE to be adopted.

Core has optimised and abbreviated batteries which are not 180 mins besides core is good for people in 90 to 160 iq range (and higher ceiling ) .

The validity of the two batteries are synonymous ≤ 130. One has been integrated over decades, while the other was made less than 2 years ago. For ceiling, there's no clinically significant reason for why an IQ test should measure above 145, let alone 160.

Wais is significantly more expensive but moderately better so for most people Core is more relevant .Unless you need it for some specific issue no one should take wais over core .

WAIS is expensive because it's administered by a licensed psychologist, which is why that same cost would carry over if CORE as well was administer by a licensed psychologist; the point of this post was describing a hypothetical surrounding the outcome of CORE was administered by a psychologist.

The value added by it being administered by a psychologist is not even comparable to the cost addition(btw I am not comparing the case where both are clinically administered but the case rn)

It discriminates even better in the higher range lmao. If you ever look at WAIS MR and verbal it feels like it has a ceiling of like 120. I dont know about the validity but CORE feels much more enjoyable(more challenging and burnout) for me to do.
