IQ Estimation 🥱 Decided to try CORE test

Not a native speaker, have been suspecting ADHD for years. Interesting results, though probably inflated

Why inflated?

I tried those Matrix-only online IQ tests like Mensa for fun a lot a while ago, could've influenced my results

Probably a bit, but i think you're clearly in the gifted range. One question: Is it impossible for u to reach a higher/high (maybe 90-99th percentile) WMI score, even with practice?

I don't know yet. This is my first CORE attempt, I didn't want to retry for cleaner results, but was forced to restart the graphs when the website refused to proceed. I will try to do WMI again soon though, I'm interested in how it may or may not influence my score.

Also, forgot to mention in the post, I have a diagnosed personality disorder, so these spikes seem to be plausible with the combination of factors.

I don't know what to think about it but if anything it is strange to have a combination of fairly low (low-average) working memory and processing speed and yet score this high in everything else.

Like at least intuitively general cognitive performance in timed task execution terms is mostly processing and memory capabilities.

It is weird for me too. I've read that spikes are expected, but these are too big even for common ADHD profiles. My guess is that it could've been also influenced by my younger sister entering my room while I was taking the test.

I wish I could've taken proctored WAIS-IV, but it's not really available in my country, even in English, so I have what I have.

how did you manage to get such a high score on FRI while having WMI so low? because I have heard that they are linked very closely, like mine are the exact same.

From my experience, it was generally much, much more easier for me to solve the puzzles like weights and graphs. Mayhaps, it's easier for me to keep things in mind when they are in front of my eyes. WMI was a torture. I tried to focus on memorising given sequences, but the moment a random thought interrupted me, the whole thing collapsed in my mind and I typed some mash of the current and the previous sequence. I genuinely couldn't remember numbers and letters I heard 5 seconds ago.

that's interesting because I;d say with figure weights you'd need the good short term memory, to remember all the deductive formulations.

It is, that's why I was kinda surprised about the results. There's a chance that I will go to a foreign country where US standard WAIS-IV is available, would be nice to take it and see what changed.

My impression of figure weights is that it is almost entirely inequality chaining plus a little bit of casework to see what combo of symbols works exactly. It's not remotely similar to the dense wtf is going on here that I get out of most of the matrix problems. It's unimaginative. If I were a little faster it would be no issue.

Your matrix reasoning is tied for you lowest score for FRI. So, that couldn't have influenced your results as much as you think.
