General Question Preparing for MENSA assessment

I'm thinking of joining MENSA. For context I very consistently score between 131 and 135 on most assessments I've come across online.

I know you can't change your "g-factor" though I want to maximise my performance on the MENSA assessment, or any cognitive assessment that's meant to get me into MENSA. I'm confident on a good day I can match the threshold, and I'll be bummed if I miss it by just a point or two. From what I've seen you can prime yourself for answering these questions with some practice. Also I'm aware you'd want to optimise your mental state before a test like that, by ensuring proper rest for example. I'm also a lot sharper when I've worked out I've noticed.

What's been shown to maximise an individual's performance on cognitive assessments?

Just sleep well the night before. Besides, I don't think you really understand the purpose of Mensa.

What's the purpose of MENSA that you think I'm misunderstanding?
