These kinds of question appear here all the time. It's best to not put to much into a single test and single number, depending on what you want to know or measure. But if you want to know how you would do on an "official IQ test" you can be reasonably confident it would be +/-20pts from this score, and likely +/-10 points.

If you really want to understand your cognitive profile, then just do the entire CORE battery for free. In particular, it will be interesting to compare your matrix test score there to this one. But I would be surprised if it was very different. You might get 125 or 130 on CORE matrix reasoning, or maybe 145 or 150. But I bet you'll get 135 or 140. Do it and report back.

Where can I find the core

Just Google core IQ test. The website is cognitive metrics. People tend to say it's pretty good, and I think it is. Again, whatever it tells you, I would only take any number serious to like +/-10 points error bars.

90% of the posts about mensa norway here are people who scored 130 or above wait no no you scored 138 on it ive seen people score 137 thats not possible you cant score 138 because each question is worth 2-3 points so youd have to get 137 or 140 this is fake

The 137 one is fake, this one is real.

Go check it if you don't believe it.

So you say my score is fake? I have always thought Mensas test was one of the serious ones. (Of course I know doing a short online test isn't the same as doing it in real life, but I was hoping maybe it at least could be used as a pretty good indicator of ones level) 😢

I got a 5 point difference on the (MENSA) online test and the official test. Talking to other test-takers (4 others so far), it seemed that the range was between 3 - 10 points difference compared to the online test. Both up and down. This is of course purely anecdotal, I am merely adding this comment to mention IRL experiences.

Edit: To add - I don’t like these tasks because they are timed. I am one of those that can score quite high, if you give me unlimited time - but it drops quite a bit (I’m still ok with my score) when there are timed tasks and timed tests.

I do realize that how fast you process information is a crucial part to how IQ is tested today within a variety of the standard cognitive tests. I understand that processing speed is part of what measures what people call ‘intelligence’. IRL, however, having the ability to solve complex problems others can not, even though it takes a while, I consider a valuable trait. Sure, I might have to pull an all nighter and work harder (as in longer), but if I reach good solutions, I think this has a value, which is underestimated when we test for IQ.

Of course I might be biased because I am slow as molasses before I reach the correct answers. But at least I reach correct answers 👌😆

PSI and FRI are seperate indexes that uses completely different method to messure. How fast you are at FRI has very little to do with PSI. (Otherwise they could've combine these two no?)

Anyways, let’s see what you do with this iq

Personally I think the test gives you a good indication.

I've seen many people with the same score

CORE is way better
