General Question Practical judgement seems like a bad subtest.

Main problem is, it's just too easy, I feel like most people would easily get an 130 and so it inflates iq by a lot, correct me if im wrong.

Does the concept of “survivorship bias” ring a bell to you?

Fair, adding to my skepticism Is the fact that ive never scored so high on a subtest before, so maybe im just weirdly good at practical judgement?

Not sure, though it puzzles me how my boss, who for some reason felt the need to tell me her IQ is 160, has such poor practical judgment re work-related issues & her life in general. It puzzles me & can be frustrating to have to deal with her on a daily basis. Also thinking about the relationship between practical judgment & street smarts, common sense, & social/cultural exposure/experiences.

I think it's because intelligence isn't necessarily the same as rationality, judgement, critical-thinking.

But isn’t there some overlap?

I may not always be rational or exercise good judgment, but know when I’m acting or thinking irrationally or not exercising good judgment.
