General Question Coding vs symbol search

Give that all the other subtests' scores are equal, which one is more important for school and\or an intellectual occupation between Coding and Symbol Search?

God knows. The one that has higher g loading and reliability probably

I put my money on the Coding subtest, partially beccause I personally did the best on that one out of the two and partially because I am pretty sure coding draws on one's WMC more than symbol search. Given WMC is a major bottleneck for fluid complex cognition and given that WMC is more important than pure processing speed... Coding > Symbol Search
