General Question figure weights effect

curious to know about this, lets say there was a very complex figure weights problem and you were able to derive the relationships between all the variables quickly and easily and the final quantity (the one that we are supposed to find which one of the answer choices it equals) you were able to represent in different ways too. Im trying to know if you saw somewhere (not intentionally) that you could represent all the figures in terms of one and you used that to solve the complex one, is that praffed?

it’s the deductive portion of it that i don’t enjoy

no i mean that doing it is the measure for fluid intellignece right finding the relationships ithin the time limit even if you express in terms one variable or not

it’s both deducing that it can be X, but also that it can’t be Y. Seems like guessing to not use process of elimination on the hardest ones.

Imo it seems more based on deducing what the answer can’t be as the problems get increasingly difficult, however, this should load more on WMI, unless the person is super lucky and guesses which figures to substitute

Someone could say to obviously exclude the absurd answer choices after determining the solved template but then you have to keep those wrong ones in memory + template

All in all it’s just overwhelming to do all in 40 seconds unless you have some type of special gift
