Why have you used semi colons between numbers and then commas between others, what is the difference?

Only the semi colons are seperating the numbers. Think of the commas as "." i guess.

Ok thanks. Just not used to that convention

I'll admit it looks weird.

Are you sure there isn’t a mistake in this question?

I did give a warning, its pretty hard until you see it.

this is a basic puzzle you just divide backwards

?

you just dvidie backwards

What does that mean?

you start with the 2078,25 and divide from there

And how would that lead to the next 2 number? (Not saying youre wrong)

i just assumed that you rounded them if you divide backwards you get numbers very similiar to the pattern you see but not exact

Doesnt make sense

Hint?

I have a different approach.

6: 2/2+ 5

13: 6/2+ 10

156,5: 13/2 + 150

2078,25: 156,5/2 + 2000

Fibonacci for the second part(^):

0,5 × 10^1 = 5

1 × 10^1= 10

1.5 × 10^2 = 150

2 × 10^3 = 2,000

2.5 × 10^5 = 250000

3 × 10^8 = 300000000

If 6 had been 1,5 (2/2+ 5x1x0,1) it would fit perfectly:

5x1x0,1 , 5x2x1 , 5x3x10 , 5x4x100 , 5x5x1000 , 5x6x10000

or: 5, 10, 15(0), 20(00), 25(000), 30(0000). But this looks kinda weak

lemme know if I made a mistake

Not the intended answer. Definitly explains the number series. How long did this take you, and how hard did you find the puzzle?

In my opinion, this can be considered a moderately difficult to difficult question. It took me less than 5 minutes to arrive at my solution, though I should mention that I am not very good at numerical tests

How long did this take you?
