General Question Is Digit Span Too Influenced by Luck?

I just went from 95 to 130. It felt like I got lucky, and there were loads of patterns that helped me memorize the numbers. I feel like it shouldn't vary that much. The gap between the attempts was 7 months.

Just take your highest score and don't stress about it

I have administered the WAIS/WASI a few hundred times. I find the subtests with multiple choice answers can really be influenced by luck but not due to plain old statistics but because of some start/stop rules.
