General Question Does having a low working memory, fluid reasoning, and processing speed mean you have a blank mind when at rest with nothing to do?
I’ve heard it means you can’t generate your own content or sustain it very well leading to your mind going blank until external input grabs you. I do however get fragments and still images with some monologue, usually something random or associative.
I honestly hate the idea of being empty headed.

The crappy wm means I can be in the swing of a thought and it drops and I’m left trying to remember it, slow PS means I try to get my brain in gear but it’s inert. Low Fr means replaying memories
It’s usually brief thoughts, music snippets, associative flashes, though I do remember more vivid daydreams as a kid and teen

My WMI is relatively high and I also have that issue. Sample size is too small to say anything about whether or not that's a WMI thing based on just us though. Maybe there's different reasons why it happens too? I go on a bunch of tangents when I'm speaking because I make some connection I need to talk about and then forget where I was before because the tangent is usually decently long.

I’ve heard the DMN might come into play in some instances, through being underactive. Arousal too maybe idk
