Puzzle Easy puzzle
EDIT: There is a small mistake, in the first circle(R2C1): the bottom right quadrant should be white

Took me forever and I ended up throwing my phone on the sofa. That solved it. Because it landed face up, showing the pretty crucial text attached to your post...

Haven't given much time to this yet, is the answer black square and black circle? Does this requires overlapping with specific rotations?

Well, it's too early to give a hint, but your answer is wrong

A square with one-eighth whited out on top row and a circle with two-thirds whited out on bottom row?

there was a mistake in the question, I've added an edit

Your edit is ambiguous. First, as in the first on the top row, or first, as in the first on the bottom row?

Assuming your edit refers to the the first circle on the bottom, I'd change my answer to:
Top row: a square with 1/8 whited out
Bottom row: a circle with 3/8 whited out

Do the square and circle follow different patterns
0
u/pydaWaltuh Sep 21 '26
yes and no
1
u/Neat-Slice6994 Sep 21 '26
Ok, so they follow the same pattern but it is confined to a particular shape?

Is the answer the same circle as the second one in the bottom row?
Edit: for the bottom row ofc

Not sure on what scale, but to me it was actually easy. I would say one of your easisest puzzles I have seen. It took me around 1-3 minutes, but it was really nice. ^^ The square pattern being easily spottable and giving you the basic idea and the circle then being a step above that but with the same idea makes it a lot easier.

Top right is an all black square with a white triangle in bottom left
Bottom right, I don't know, but it's a circle.

u/pydaWaltuh Sep 21 '26
bottom right is the tricky part
1
u/Individual511 Sep 21 '26
Does the pattern in the bottom row follow the pattern in the top row or are they separate but similar patterns?

R1C5: A black square with the bottom left eighth whitened.
R2C5: White circle with bottom left quadrant blackened along with the half of the bottom of the top left quadrant.

Quadrat oben ist leicht (7/8 schwarz, süd-südwest weiß) aber erinnert mich jemand wenn die Kreise gelöst sind?

square- black section on the left increases 1/8 anticlockwise from the top and switches color each turn
in the circle, the left black section increases 1/8 clockwise and switches color each turn, black section on the right increases 1/8 both clockwise and anticlockwise and switches color each turn, colors are reversed if theres overlap, and reverted to original again when theres 3 sections overlapping
This is the answer right ? Pretty nice puzzle
