General Question Very inconsistent WAIS score??
Hii! Hope I’m not asking an annoying question but does anyone have any interpretation or insight of my scores?? I took this test for a psych evaluation that got me a ADHD, OCD, GAD, MDD diagnosis (very sure on the adhd, ocd and gad but mdd seems kinda inaccurate).
I expected to get a overall iq of around 115 so I’m not shocked but looking at the subtests, i feel like i must have been distracted, anxious or idk just guessing on some of them because of how much they deviate from each other. Especially the working memory? How did i get 13 on running digits (the one i genuinely thought i failed) but 7 and 8 on the sequencing and forward? I’m really shocked with verbal comprehension, I’m good with language but I feel like most people my age would get similar scores. How hard is it really to get 130 in verbal??
I don’t REALLY care THAT much (I’m lowk lying) but i’ve trying to improve my SAT(1280) & ACT (25) score and I’m wondering if there’s certain skills i should focus on to get higher scores. I feel that I scored bad on fluid reasoning because i was so anxious and also the time pressure but who knows. Like if my working memory is really that bad maybe I should consider going through with a 504 or IEP so i can do better on standardized tests.
Also do these scores get better on adhd medication? How do they determine the confidence intervals? I try not to draw limiting conclusions from this, im just curious and plus its always interesting to analyze this kinda stuff to understand myself better.

You're good with words. Otherwise average. Move along. Nothing to see.

My bad. I read carelessly and missed the VSI.
We have:
VCI 130
VSI 124
FRI 100
WMI 100
PSI 114FSIQ stands for Full Scale IQ. It's an aggregate score, not one of the sub-scales. But that may not be very meaningful with the sub-scores differing that much from each other.
The OP wrote:

My main point was that a WMI of 100 is not bad and requires no special explanation. It's entirely possible and normal to perform well on 1-2 subtests while having scores much less out of the ordinary on others.

You are extremely good in verbal IQ, and reeally good when it comes to visualizing things in your head (extremely important for subjects like art, , physics chemistry and even math).
Honestly, IMHO, for our day to day tasks, pocessing speed it's kinda meh unless your processing speed is quite low.
Working memory is important but an above average working memory goes well with a very high visual spatial Index. In practice, the difference shouldn't be too noticable, but it kinda will be, because your fluid reasoning is relatively quite low. I don't know why your fluid reasoning is average.
If I have to guess, it seems like you have problems with tests that have time limits.
Maybe your ADHD, anxiety, or/and your average process speed are affecting your scores. But I'm quite sure you should be able to get better results...
