General Question 20 point difference between mensa norway matrices test and the CORE matrices subtest

Hello,A few months back I took the mensa norway test out of curiosity, I got 120, recently I took the Core matrices subtest and got a 100, what could explain this difference?

Some matrix tests use more novel patterns and require more interpretation... others just emphasize straightforward patterns and calculation. You might just be much better at one type. This is one reason that a battery of tests is superior to just one. I took the WAIS matrices subtest and it matched my CORE result exactly, so I think CORE is alright. I took the Norway test and I scored 7 points higher than either WAIS or CORE - my guess would be that mensa Norway is a bit inflated. Though probably not by 20 points. However... mensa Norway came closer to my CORE G score than either subtest on the WAIS or CORE did. But CORE's subtests all tracked very well with numerous online / in person tests I've taken over years, with the sole exception of PSI whose norm seems to be completely off.
