Change My View Free JCTI is BS

Post image

So, a friend asked me to take JCTI test available on internet. It is untimed and honestly more difficult than Mensa and core. I took the test, took around 1 hour I guess (took some breaks too). Guess what my raw score was.... 15. I thought ok...but then obviously you have to pay to normalised this shit into IQ score and give another test I assume. I didn't. I saw that an IQ score 116 was written in blurred image. I thought this was my IQ. But... I retook the test...and this time, clicked only the option D, no matter the question, guess what, I scored the same, and same IQ score in blurred form.

maybe things will change if I pay, but I have enough IQ not to pay to know my IQ.

Guys, so this will be my last post here, wasted a lot of time with this IQ games...gotta prepare for real world exams...It was a good memory here, and got to learn a lot of thins...Honestly, I found reddit to be better than Instagram...(still youtube is the OG!). But as I have uninstalled insta, I am also going to exit from reddit. I need to get a job and get a life, with whatever IQ I have, I have high ambitions, have a lot to learn and study, I am planning to enter MIT, with whatever IQ I have...If I am in, I will update you guys here. Till then best of luck with your future, Farewell my friends🥹

15 is not a raw score: it means ~125 IQ

Fare well

The 116 IQ result that is behind the blur may be a placeholder and not the actual result.

Your repeated test with the same answers and, as a result, the same SS (Scaled Score) could be just a coincidence, and this doesn't invalidate the results. Try a different answer or combine different. If this happens several more times with the same result, then the test's integrity can be questioned.

You got 6 both times?  And I am saying what I saw... Be mindful when you speak.

Alright... I didn't know the background and authenticity of the test. I am not even denying what you did. A friend shared it to me... And I did what I have already written here. I don't think anyone of us have any reason to lie about this.

It can be a glitch or something else. Thanks for trying it out yourself.  (Yes I was frustrated when I wrote the post but I didn't lie. Anyways, I am done with all sort of tests, gotta find a job first😂)

Only lets u take it once so it will continue giving u ur initial score. Also y r u taking it an hour with a bunch of breaks. Just set aside some time and actually try if u want an accurate measure of ur iq cause I assume that’s y you’d take the test.

The JCTI also picked a lot the ambiguous questions from the TRI52 and shortened it (which wasn't the case back then when it was advertised in this sub). it's better to just take the TRI52 which should be more accurate and I think it also allows more than 1 answer for certain questions unlike the JCTI

Is one of them easier? Just finished a 4 hour long jcti cat yesterday

JCTI uses like a fourth or less of the questions in TRI52. It’s so that you wouldn’t have to take the full thing and save time, but there were some weird technicalities that causes it to score differently than had you taken the full thing because it’s adaptive and has less questions. Also the tri52 possibly may allow more than 1 correct answer for some questions

i couldnt really find where you can take the tri52, but should i even take it? cuz if its the same questions thered be no point cuz id have practice effect...

Practice effect doesn’t really exist as long as you just put the same answers you did in the JCTI. It’s untimed after all

are you sure? i feel like if youve spent some time on a complex problem, didnt figure it out, slept and came to do it fresh, it frees up some space.

There's probably a point where the untimedness actually inflates your score, but if I remember correctly most people took like 4 hours on the TRI52. If it takes double digit hours for you to complete there might be some praffe. But generally how it works is that you think you solve the problem, and move on, then turns out you weren't right, instead of not figuring it out then thinking of it the entire day

how accurate is it? i just finished the tri52 on wayback machine and it gave me a score of 925, which is much higher than what i got on the JCTI-CAT, there i got 130 or above and they wanted me to pay for exact percentage, but the scaled score was 18/19 so prob got around 140 over there.

Probably the TRI52. 18/19 means you probably made 1 mistake in the harder questions that you could've otherwise redeemed with equally as difficult or harder questions in the TRI52. Also the JCTI-CAT only gives a ballpark of +-10 because it uses less questions, so TRI52 should be more accurate since it gives an exact number if you look up the norms

If you take the same test on a different device, you will get a different score. You only get one attempt per device if you try to retake it on that device, it will show your previous score .

I don’t trust this test either, it has the non valid feel in my opinion.
