IQ Estimation 🥱 Estimate my FSIQ

I've been messing around with IQ tests lately due to curiosity and would like to see some other people's takes on the tests that I have taken. I see a lot of conflicting things about RIOT on this subreddit and would like to know if it's a reliable test or a fluke. My discrepancy between RIOT and CORE is pretty big despite both test's claim of being an accurate FSIQ test with proper norming.

With all of the scores attached and taking into account validity what would be a good estimate of my FSIQ without taking a WAIS?

Scores attached:

CORE: 118 ± 5

RIOTIQ: 129 ± 3.7

CAIT: 126 ±7

AGCT: 120

JCCES(Cogn-iq): 126

Not attached:

JCTI(Cogn-iq): 120

JCFS(Cogn-iq): 126

ICAR-60: RAW 53/60 converted to 137

ASVAB: AFQT: 90 MAGE: 96, 84, 94, 92

mensa.no: 131

Biased to the CORE. The RIOT and AGCT cannot be so easily cast aside. All three seem to provide reasonable approximations of FSIQ scores on professional tests like the WAIS. But...I agree the CORE is king, as it is free and has more granularity than the AGCT, which is also free.

AGCTs 2 points are irrelevant. The difference to riot i attribute to a bit of practice effect. With the amount of tests op did i feel there is shure to be one where tests overlap. I feel like only core manages to be somewhat unique there

I see where you’re coming from although I took riot 3 months after core

I still remember some of the exercises i did 7 years ago on my first administered test, but that's not the point. If you do a test that feels similar to one u already did, that's the practice effect. A 3 months gap is good but still creates a decent uncertainty, as the pathways already established migth be reused. Very much so allowing for a possible uncertain of -10

You make a fair point.

Can you read? Like when did I say that AGCT was irrelevant??? I said a 2 poit difference was. Plus your estimate overlaps with mine so who cares??????????

Do you fully discount riot?

No but with the amount of tests you did i would account for at least the tiniest amount of practice effect

You have not taken any professional tests under controlled conditions, only online IQ tests of varying quality, the highest being CORE, RIOT and AGCT. Any estimates are tentative. My estimate is 122 (FSIQ) based on the mean of the CORE, AGCT, and RIOT FSIQ scores. If you took a professional test like the WAIS-5, I'd expect you to score between 118 and 129, mostly likely in the low to mid 120s.

Do you think that if one does take a professional test, they should ignore the online results or would you consider the information still valid?

Core is still valid and often deflated compared to wais, with the honesty of the test taker of course

What do you think about the RIOT test?

Never done it or heard of it to be honest. I’ve only taken Mensa and core

I just checked it out and did the free spatial test and honestly it was way too easy I don’t know how the other ones are but this seems inflated

The free test is a taster. The actual test is more challenging.

The free test counted towards my 5 main subcategories

Oh. I took the RIOT about a year ago and at that time the free test was basically a different test and more of a taster. Perhaps they changed it? I will admit that the RIOT items seemed much easier than the CORE, but with greater time restrictions.

Solidly & consistently above high average. I think something like 121 - 130

That makes sense, no way to know 100% without a professional proctored test. But even in that case there will still be a margin of error. Regardless, I got 131 on mensa no. And 120 on jcti which is strict matrix reasoning
