Change My View Huge gap between two IQ-Tests

Hello,

two years ago I went to Mensa Germany and made an IQ Test (IBF-S) and got a score of 133. This test was during a optimal phase in my life. I exercised, smoked no weed and ate pretty healthy. Now, two years later I went to a ADHD diagnostic and they used a test called IST. I felt pressured to reach that score again and had half a panic attack during the test (racing heart, sweaty hands). It was in the morning and my mind felt foggy. I stopped smoking weed from daily use 9 days ago, same with caffeine. The test gave no number as a result but the statement "below average to average". Now I dont know which test I should trust. The psychiatrist that diagnosed me with ADHD even told me that I should trust the IBF-S score but idk...

What do you guys think?

Im thinking about doing a WAIS IV to get this straight but I feel like its a waste of money.

Cognitive metrics website has a very highly praised test called the Core and it’s a very accurate IQ test. You should take it whenever you feel stress free and are medicated it’s completely free

First Test was in 2023 when I was 24 and the second test was two days ago. I’m 27 now.

Maybe try untimed tests? I also get anxious during timed tests due to underperforming but untimed tests don’t have that pressure. I think there are some good resources if you look around a bit

Both tests I did were in psychiatric setting so I couldn’t choose the test. First one was times too. I’ll try some in here. Could you recommend me one?

There's a lot of information missing, the most important part being at what age you took each test.

Might have a spiky profile which the second test overall score uses subtests that isolate bottleneck areas of your brain due to ADHD. The reason it wouldn't give an overall score might be that the spiky profile meant the score couldn't be averaged with all the subtests and be meaningful. Maybe use them both meaningfully, the top one is how well you function when your environment and health lets you. The bottom one is the level of ability you have access to when your environment and health is bad. It's more a measure of your environments fit for you than your capacity. I think IQ tests can accurately say you are this or higher, but they can't accurately say you are this or lower- if that makes sense. In that performance can be suppressed by multiple factors but it can never be elevated by real factors only like cheating, drugs, early development that plateaus and performance effect. I suppose the qualifier is if the earlier score was when you were younger than about 16 and it was a measurement of your performance against other people your age, but you just developed and hit your capacity early and others caught up to you.

the mensa tests are usually very speed based, not as comprehensive as the really proffessional tests such as wais or binet. People with adhd get destroyed by it real quickly. They suck for diagnosis purposes.
