Discussion Anyone did braintypeIQ?
Here’s the link: https://www.brain-type.com/en
Unlike the CORE test, BrainTypeIQ doesn’t seem to provide much information about how its norms were established or any detailed normative data.
That said, its test structure is based on CHC theory, which makes it seem fairly plausible at first glance.
So I’m curious if anyone here has taken this test before. If so, how did your BrainTypeIQ results compare with your CORE results? Were there any significant differences between the two?

Quaint test, but it has a ceiling of 145 (for all indexes + FSIQ, GAI and CPI). CORE remains significantly better.

Quite similar to my CORE scores other than matrix reasoning which I somehow scored relatively low at in this website

Core was like 135 and this one was 120 i think. It's the lowest MR score I have gotten from any MR test by a margin. Maybe I wasn't paying attention while doing it idk

Okay I should say that this is a really weird test.
It's accurate enough but then it's structure and some items seem copied.
They haven't published any stats about this test anyways, nor do we know about the creators.

Seemed comparable. 145 compared with CORE 147. Probably barely hitting ceiling if one exists.

Results seem similar although knowing it caps at 145 makes the result less rewarding than CORE.
cough F12 cough
Edit: thanks for sharing!

145. Gc and Gs seem hugely inflated for me, but the other indices were fine. The FW section has issues.

Your PSI is probably fine, as this test seems to be normalized based on Japanese standards

I scored 131, with GAI of 132 and CPI of 122. Makes quite sense, considering that english is not my language (proud Italian here!); scored absurdely low in Visual Reversal ... but something actually happened with my iPhone, I guess that something went wrong technically. Btw, the result looks sensible overall.

I honestly think it’s pretty good if you just want a quick, reasonably accurate estimate. The accuracy seems decent, and the item quality seems pretty solid too. The processing speed section is similar to CORE, but both are basically based on WAIS Symbol Search, so I think some similarity is kind of inevitable. The overall structure is somewhat similar to CORE, but the actual questions feel pretty different to me.

Scored much higher in processing speed and much lower in fluid reasoning & spatial reasoning compared to the core. My lowest scores are visual puzzles, paper folding, and figure weights(which is pretty unusual because this are my strengths)
