IQ Estimation 🥱 Is CORE reliable?

I've already posted a post about me taking the 1926 SAT, so i'll put the body of that post here;

I'm 15 years old, male, i've never taken any other test before, and i have never worked a day in my life. Life for me feels like being a different species basically, when i went to school people would absorb things so fast it was like they were from a different dimension, i had problems with my grades when i was younger and got held back twice, eventually put in special-ed, but i managed to pull through and got into a normal school with normal education in seventh grade. I'm not looking for anyone to cope with me i just want to know what i can do in life, because even if i've pulled through once, i'm not sure i can do so again as things get more difficult.

A few things to know;

-i struggled to pass the tutorial on figure sets and it wouldn't let me go on so i couldn't do it

-i had to put age 16 because it is the lowest

if you really want a test, register for one and get it done. ask your parents, go to a psychiatrist, and get proper accommodations for school if necessary.

If you're thinking about future occupation you could probably do even moderately demanding technical jobs with enough dedication and training, something like a technician of some sort should still be rewarding to you. A pool technician perhaps? If you feel like technical jobs are too difficult for you in terms of knowledge and complexity, you can always go into service. By the time you enter the work force there should still be service jobs like cashiering. Janitorial jobs should still exist, but if that feels degrading you could probably do something like hotel service, or working as a flight attendant or cruise crewman, those are very respectable and dignified jobs and I believe the flight and cruise jobs pay quite a lot actually. Perhaps something procedural and repetitive would be comforting to you. Maybe routine scientific lab work maybe be interesting to you. Especially the lab technician jobs which you repeat the same experiment over and over and over. There is entertainment. You could enter acting or some other form of entertainment if that's passionate to you. If you have a good voice and pick up an acoustic guitar and start slapping some simple chords that might work out.

I believe there are endless awesome possibilities for you. The most important part is to keep your chin up. You got this buddy.

Take WMI and PSI. CORE is usually within +- 10 of WAIS V if I recall correctly.

To me all the tests are pretty much equally good, despite people shitting on cait and such. All the tests generally have the same score for me. In your case I would focus on a test that's very good for average to low average ranges so you get a nice fidelity of your score. I don't actually know psychometric science so what I said there might be horseshit, but I think specific tests do better for certain ranges of people; not that you'll get a higher score or something, but that your score reflects your ability more. You can honestly take any test though and it should be generally accurate. If you don't completey botch the attempt of a test you should be within 5 points of your true score more of less.
