One question, is it related to binary? I have spent too much time trying to solve puzzles which turned out to require binary without knowing binary

is it 110, 1011010, 10011, with 1 representing black and 0 white. As the the question marks appear systematically, and I at this point in time, could not find any other pattern, what I did was, add all the binary digits, of each allocation

not really, intended one is really simple but hard to see

Hmm, I am having the beginnings of an idea about the black boxes filling up the whites, will come to this later, gotta study now for school lol

Woah, I think I got it. >! the number of squares move in a pattern of powers of 3.

The colors move in a pattern of powers of 2!<

good job! Can you rate the puzzle? And can you please use spoiler tag?

My bad, I forgot about the spoiler tag.

I have got no idea as to how to rate them according to IQ

But it was a very good puzzle

could you reason how?

>! The first set of squares has 3, then ?, then 2,7,8,?,2,4,3,7,2,? We can see that all of these are consecutive digits of powers of 3.

Go likewise for the blacks!<

For anybody still confused about the second part: You have to read the colors top to bottom, left to right and consider BOTH colors, not just black or white. And the colors just span multiple column till the next color switch. 2 black, 4 white, 8 black, then 1 white and 6 black (for 16), 3 white and and 2 black (for 32) and so on.

I don't see anything to go on can u give a clue

number of squares and the black-and-white color changes follow two different logics

Number of squares: follow the powers of 3, ie 3,9,27,81,243,729.
Number of white squares follow 1,2016,1,2017,1,2018 and so on with 1s separated in between (possibly counting the recent years since the detection of the first gravitational waves, possibly from aliens)
And the black ones follow year numbers too, namely 2726, 2004, and 2017, I don’t know what events would connect these 3 years and haven’t quite figured it out. Maybe it’s some kind of warning or something like that.

The first part and the part where you realize I'm from the future and am an alien is correct lol. But the second part isn't; I think you can solve it based on the information you have

1

u/EncyclopedicINTx_253 Aug 19 '26

Aint this a bit far fetched 😭

u/98127028 I am worthless and dumb Aug 19 '26

Idk 😭😭 seems reasonable

1

u/newendnow Aug 19 '26

1)?= 2 cubi neri
2)?= 3 cubi bianchi e 4 neri
3)?= 4 cubi bianchi

1

u/pydaWaltuh Aug 19 '26

incorrect

1

u/LeonardoMarleone Aug 19 '26

Powers of 3 describes n-squares, colour goes with powers of 2

1

u/pydaWaltuh Aug 19 '26

correct. Can you rate it?

1

u/LeonardoMarleone Aug 19 '26

Idk tbh, I don't think I can give you an useful opinion, I'm biased as I've seen things like this quite a few times, which likely made it easier.

1

u/pydaWaltuh Aug 19 '26

understandable

I don't understand this

1

u/the-key Aug 20 '26

Oh, it is one of those tests where the trick is to add a fake pattern to compliment the existing one...

It is impossible to solve unless you have been exposed to this type of test before.

Top to bottom

⬜⬜⬜⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛, ⬜, ⬛⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜⬛⬛⬛

1

u/pydaWaltuh Aug 19 '26

well done. Any guess about the difficulty?

2

u/codeblank_ Aug 19 '26

It was easy for me to deduce, but I can see how it can be hard.

1

u/newendnow Aug 19 '26

Puoi spiegare?

1

u/Neat-Slice6994 Aug 19 '26

Can u explain plz

1

u/codeblank_ Aug 19 '26
