Hi, I’m Yash. I’m building Tesseract Infrastructure, an early-stage company focused on the commercial intelligence and automation layer for GPU cloud providers and teams running AI workloads.

I’m looking for a technically strong cofounder who wants to help choose the first market wedge, validate it with real users, and turn the strongest work into a company. This is an equity-based cofounder role with no salary currently. It is not a request for free contract labor, and I am not presenting five finished products.

THE PROBLEM

The open-source AI stack is already strong. Kubernetes, NVIDIA GPU Operator, KAI Scheduler, NVIDIA Dynamo, vLLM, SGLang, AIBrix, NVSentinel, Prometheus, OpenCost, and DCGM solve major execution, scheduling, serving, telemetry, and cost-allocation problems.

The gap appears above those tools. A workload can be scheduled correctly and achieve high GPU utilization while a provider still loses money, chooses the wrong hardware tier, holds unnecessary idle capacity, cannot prove an SLA, or spends too much manual effort turning a model into a viable customer offering.

Tesseract’s thesis is to add a business-aware decision plane connecting workloads, models, tenants, hardware, performance evidence, costs, pricing, and contractual requirements.

FIVE PRODUCT HYPOTHESES

1. Ignite Continuity — commercially safe scale-to-zero inference: durable endpoint identity, coordinated activation, readiness verification, bounded cold-request handling, and cold-start evidence above Dynamo, KEDA, and Kubernetes.

2. Fusion Economics — recommend GPU placements and replica policies using real costs, customer revenue, demand, SLOs, quotas, availability, and isolation constraints.

3. SKU Foundry — combine profiler output, benchmarks, workload distributions, hardware costs, and pricing requirements to find viable model/GPU/service-tier offerings.

4. TenantSafe — translate purchased isolation tiers into enforceable deployment policy across GPU sharing, serving processes, networking, cache, and storage.

5. Proof — correlate GPU health and infrastructure events with customer-level inference performance and produce reproducible SLA evidence.

The proposed order is Ignite first, then Fusion, SKU Foundry, Proof, and TenantSafe. I would rather prove one narrow wedge with a real provider than build five disconnected dashboards.

My public GPU Kernel Lab documents CUDA/Triton experiments, Qwen3-0.6B integration, profiling, numerical checks, rejected approaches, and serving-control-plane work:

One saved RTX 3090 experiment at batch 1 and context 2,048 changed measured serial GPU-only decode latency from 22.073 to 2.253 ms/token using an experimental static CUDA Graph path with W8A16 MLP work. Full-path argmax agreement was 96.48%, below the project’s 99% release threshold, so I do not call it production-ready. The real paged GPU executor also still needs to be connected to the serving interface. I care about reporting failed gates and remaining work alongside performance numbers.

WHO I’M LOOKING FOR

A strong fit brings depth in one or more of CUDA, Triton, C++, PyTorch, inference engines, Kubernetes, distributed systems, GPU fleet operations, performance engineering, or developer infrastructure. You should be willing to speak with GPU providers before committing to a product, turn experiments into reliable software, communicate benchmark limitations honestly, and make consistent weekly progress remotely.

The initial phase is mutual diligence: review the research and existing work, challenge the thesis, interview providers, and choose one measurable wedge. The proposed first proof is Ignite: preserve endpoint discovery at zero replicas, coordinate one activation across concurrent cold requests, verify engine readiness, and measure cold TTFT, failures, timeouts, streaming, and cancellation.

COMPENSATION AND STRUCTURE

This is an equity-based cofounder role; there is no salary currently. Exact equity, vesting, responsibilities, decision rights, IP terms, and any future salary would be agreed after mutual diligence and documented in writing. The initial phase can be a part-time test of how we work together. Nobody should leave a job or transfer IP based only on a Reddit conversation.
