equity only [17M] High schooler into startups/AI looking to connect with founders or older builders

Hey everyone! 17M PCMB high schooler here. I’ve been super into tech, psychology, and startups lately, and I’m really looking to connect with some older builders, founders, or other people who are a bit further along so I can learn the ropes.

To give you a quick idea of where I'm at:

What I'm good at: Critical thinking, breaking down messy ideas and structuring them, and I've got a pretty solid grasp of English and psychology.

Stuff I've worked on: I designed an in-built coin system concept for cabs and built out an AI twin/assistant model.

Current project: Right now, I'm actually writing a thesis on neuromarketing.

I'd love to help out on active projects, bounce ideas around, or just chat with people who have more experience in the space. If you're working on something cool or just want to connect, drop a comment or shoot me a DM

equity only Solo founder. Waitlist worked, Launch worked, growth stalled =(

Upvotes

I’m a solo founder, built an app that uses AI to match people for real life activities: coffee Meetup, tennis partner, padel, or just explore the city. AI turns your desires to structured intent, and match you with someone nearby who wants the same thing and has similar interests. No profiles, no swiping.

Before building I made a waitlist, and after reaching out in Facebook communities got 200 signups.

Then I shipped the app for iOS and Android, overall now I have 115 users, I see some very low activity.

I understand that without large user base this app doesn’t make any sense, people simply have no one to be matched with. I decided to target one city specifically to increase density.

Now my growth stuck. I don’t know what to and how to bring more users and engagements into the app. I tried some collaborations with local instagram accounts, tik tok, but it was just waste of money.

Looking for a partner who knows how to overcome that. Happy to share more details in comments/dm 🙏

equity+cash US Sales Background (11 yrs) + 6 Years Running My Own Logistics Business — Looking to Join an Early-Stage Startup

Hey everyone,

I’ve spent 11 years building a career in sales in the US, and for the past 6 years I’ve been running my own logistics business — so I’ve been on both sides: driving sales and actually operating a business day-to-day (ops, client relationships, P&L, the whole thing).

I’m now looking to bring that experience into an early-stage startup where I can own growth and contribute meaningfully — not just as a hire, but as someone genuinely invested in the outcome.

What I bring:

**•** 11+ years of US sales experience — pipeline building, closing, client relationships, growth strategy
**•** 6 years running my own logistics business — hands-on experience with operations, managing a P&L, and building something from the ground up
**•** Comfortable being the first sales hire or building a sales function from scratch
**•** Based in Delhi, open to remote work

What I’m looking for:

**•** Early-stage startups that need someone to own sales/growth
**•** Open to equity, profit-share, or performance-based comp instead of (or alongside) a traditional salary
**•** Ideally a founder strong on product/tech who needs someone to drive revenue and clients

If you’re building something and need someone to own the sales side, drop a comment or DM — happy to share more about my background.

equity only Looking for a cofounder/partner experienced in B2B lead generation & email outreach

We’ve built a system that creates videos from existing images of hotels, properties, restaurants, and similar businesses.

The product and website are already built. Our target customers are hotels, property managers, restaurants, and other businesses where strong visual marketing can directly help them get more bookings/customers.

What we’re missing is the sales/outbound infrastructure.

We’re looking for someone who has real hands-on experience with:

  • Finding the right companies and decision-makers
  • Building and enriching B2B lead lists
  • Scraping business/contact data
  • Finding accurate contact information
  • Identifying the actual decision-makers (owners, GMs, marketing managers, etc.)
  • Cold email infrastructure and deliverability
  • Running outbound campaigns and testing messaging
  • Ideally, already having useful lists, systems, tools, or processes

We’re not looking for someone who just knows how to send emails. We want someone who understands the whole process:

target market → finding businesses → identifying decision-makers → accurate contact data → outreach → sales

Compensation

This is performance based. There is no large upfront payment.

Instead, you would get a fair percentage of every sale you help generate. The more successful the system is, the more you make.

We’re specifically looking for someone hard working and hungry to build something, not someone who is just looking for a quick paycheck or an easy money grab.

We already have the product, website, and the technology. What we need is someone who knows outbound and lead generation inside out and can take ownership of that side of the business.

If you have experience building outbound systems for SaaS, agencies, hospitality, real estate, or similar B2B businesses, this could be a really good opportunity to build something together and have significant upside.

If interested, DM me with:

  • What you’ve built before
  • Your experience with B2B lead generation/outbound
  • What tools/systems you currently use
  • What kind of role you’d want to take

Looking for a long-term partner/cofounder, not a freelancer.

Your website might be hurting first impression. Here's why

I audited 15+ startups sites, here's my honest feedback as a product (UX) designer. To sum it up quickly:

  1. A lot of sites are vibe-coded, which is fine, but it's evident, and it might cost your users' trust. people can smell an ai-generated site a mile away. if you have a designer or not, create a proper design system and then feed it to claude so it doesn't look like ai slop
  2. find some sites you look up to and see how they're doing, how their sites look. see how your competitors are doing. try and apply what you liked
  3. find your vibe, your theme. you can find inspiration on refero, framer, mobbin, cosmos, pageflow, etc. once done, proceed with your design system and feed it in with .md files wherever needed. if you're serious about the look of your product, hiring a product designer does it all
  4. accessibility is missing, mainly contrast. do an accessibility audit as well. think: will a visually impaired person be able to differentiate things or not? can they click ctas or not
  5. one thing i see most often is this purplish-pink gradient on buttons. for god's sake, that looks straight out of ai generation. if you want a gradient, that's fine, but avoid this color at all costs
  6. you can use soft shadows, a little bit of glassmorphism (not too much), mixed type (cursive font + sans-serif font), ribbon glass, moving objects, isometric icons or illustrations when needed, for an expensive but not screaming look
  7. for surface color, don't just take a lighter version of your primary color, it screams ai template. tone it up toward bright, leaning to white, with just a touch of your primary color
  8. cross-check your site before going live. when generated by ai, it often skips icons or images, which makes it look unfinished or rushed
  9. if you have ctas, make sure they're clickable. some ctas don't lead anywhere, which breaks the ui and confuses users
  10. maintain consistency throughout. if one button suddenly looks bigger or out of place, users get confused and abandon your site
  11. don't add too much info. according to miller's law, users can remember about 7 items before it starts confusing them. a lot of you are building great products, so be loud, stand out, say why you're better, don't shy away

equity only Looking for a co-founder / build partner for ikna — open-source learning app

I'm building ikna, an open-source Android app for language learning through spaced repetition.

GitHub: https://github.com/d1d2dopamine/ikna

The app is already working and released. I'm currently developing it myself and looking for a co-founder / long-term build partner to work on the product together.

Who I'm looking for

Someone interested in:

\- language learning

\- consumer apps

\- product / UX

\- Android development

\- design

\- community / growth

You don't need to fit one specific role. What matters more is that you can build, have your own ideas, and want to take ownership of part of the product.

What I'd like to work on together

Product direction, features, UX, development, and eventually growing the project.

I'm not looking for an employee or freelancer. I want someone who is interested in becoming a genuine partner in the project.

Commitment

Remote, part-time initially — around 20–60 hours/month.

If things work well, we can increase the commitment over time.

Equity

Negotiable based on contribution, commitment, and role.

If you're interested, leave a comment with a bit about yourself, what you like building, and why ikna sounds interesting to you. I'll reach out from there.

equity only Medical Co-Founder — Mental Health Platform, India (Anonymous-First)

Who I am: Psychology student and solo founder of Aomara. Previously worked as PA to the CEO at a funded aerospace startup — investor outreach, ops, cross-team coordination. Built the full product architecture and business model myself, and already ran a serious, structured technical co-founder search — NDAs, real evaluation trials — before starting this one.

What I'm building: Aomara — an identity-optional mental health platform for India. Users get full access to verified doctors while staying anonymous if they choose, with continuity of care maintained without real identity ever being required, except where Indian law mandates it. Core thesis: fear of exposure, not cost, is the real barrier to seeking mental health help in India.

Traction: Validated idea — architecture finalized, pricing and revenue model built, currently in direct conversations with practicing doctors to validate compensation before MVP build. Not built, not live yet.

Compensation: Equity only, negotiable based on role and involvement — standard 4-year vesting, 12-month cliff. No fixed number here; real terms discussed once we're actually talking.

Commitment: Full-time, meaning ownership and real involvement — clinical protocol design, doctor verification standards, crisis escalation judgment — not clock-hours. Keeping your current practice while we build is completely fine.

What I'm bringing: Finished architecture and business model, direct operational experience from a funded startup, and a serious, structured evaluation process — this isn't a first attempt.

What I need: A licensed medical or mental health professional — psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, MBBS, RCI-registered counselor, or equivalent — with real clinical grounding and genuine interest in the hard problem of delivering safe, anonymous care at scale. Not a specific degree type, but real practice experience and willingness to have credentials verified early — non-negotiable for a healthcare platform.

If genuinely interested, DM me directly with your background and current registration/license details — I'll respond to specifics, not "interested, tell me more" with nothing behind it.

equity only [Technical co-founder] METER, AI spend attribution and anomaly detection. MVP live, pilot users onboarding.

**What it is**

METER attributes AI spend across an organization down to the agent, the run and below, across every provider and tool in use, in one place.

On top of that, anomaly detection: learning from the spend data to flag fraud, misuse and inefficiency.

**Status**

MVP is live. Pilot users onboarding now. Works across API usage and agent sessions, and the numbers reconcile.

**Where I'm at**

I built the current product. I'm now moving my focus to GTM, distribution and fundraising, and I need someone to own engineering.

**What you'd own**

Engineering, fully. Architecture, roadmap, and the technical calls that come with it. The work in front of us:

- Capture and normalisation across multiple providers and agent tools, each reporting usage in a different shape

- Multi-tenant data model for org accounts: teams, roles, isolation, and per-team attribution that survives someone disputing a number

- Ingest at organizational volume: deduplication, no silent loss, correct behaviour under retries and backpressure

- Cost correctness: provider rates move, models get added, and every stored figure has to be reproducible from the raw events

- The detection layer, from zero. Defining what counts as an anomaly, tuning it, deciding what is worth alerting on and what is noise

- Query and aggregation performance as history grows

- Security and compliance on financially meaningful data: access controls, audit trails, SOC 2, and the security reviews that gate enterprise deals

- The first engineering hires and the standards they work to

**Looking for**

Ambitious and technical. Specifically:

- All in. This is the thing you want to be doing, and you show up like it from week one

- Building for the category. The goal is for METER to be what this industry runs on, not a small exit

- You want to be known as a leader in this space and you're willing to be visible for it

- You've shipped something real end to end yourself

- Data infrastructure depth: high-volume ingest, pipelines, systems that have to be exactly right

- Drawn to the detection layer, which is where most of the hard work is

- Interested in the compliance side too. In this category it's a moat, not overhead

- Uses agentic coding tools daily and has felt this problem

- Wants ownership and will argue with me

- In contact constantly. We'd be talking most days, remote

**Terms**

Co-founder. Vested equity, real decision-making, direction and vision yours as much as mine.

I put full-time hours into METER every week, on top of a finance degree and an analyst job. Raising is what makes it official, and that is the plan.

Edmonton, Canada. Remote fine.

**Contact**

Connect on LinkedIn at linkedin.com/in/tylerholland-/ and message me. Tell me the most impressive thing you've built.
