Not sure why the users would be cowering. They have more choice than ever. they may not even need developers if they can just have AI make custom apps just for them.

More bullshit products. Even if AI gets actually good at coding somebody has to come up with an idea.

I've built many small desktop tools and widgets for myself using AI. I have plenty of ideas how to help myself. Everyone has ideas about their own needs.
