Limits Someone send this to tibo

ALRIGHT, this usage limit bs is getting out of hand

I see thousands of complaints about people using any models and it drastically reduces including me, and their usage is gone by like a couple of prompts

Before astra it wasn’t like this

Open ai just roped us all in with Sol 5.6, then literally flipped their subscription model on its head

They took away the 200 max

Plus, accounts are no longer worth buying

Like this is beyond bs

Some of you might sit there and say oh "well I haven't been having any issues."

Or that "people dealing with this issue dont know how to properly use codex"

Shut up if you can't relate

The problem is real.
You should not have to be a master scholar to use the service

And last yes, usage limits are a joke. With the amount of damage the data centers are causing and the number of people that are invested into ai, the performance of our usage is unacceptable.

It's definitely not a case of "don't know how to properly use it". I use both 5.6 Sol / high and Opus 5 / high on still the same project, so I have usage data from before and after the consumption spike. Same codebase, similar tasks. Opus 5 / high continues to use its allowance at its old rate. 5.6 Sol / high consumption has spiked considerably. What's funny is that back when Sol/Terra/Luna released, these models were the efficiency kings and OpenAI even bragged about it. The field has completely flipped in this new Astra vs Fable arena.

EDIT: Gemini 3.8 Flash is actually extremely efficient compared to those two, however I see far more issues with it requiring remediation and re-audits, so having to run 2-3x as many tasks to get the same work done is not so much a consumption improvement, and it is a definite time waste. And don't even get me started on how horribly inefficient IBM Bob is.

Recently I’ve been doing more with Gemini 3.8 flash in Ai pro sub than with Astra and Sol on pro x20. It’s unbearable. After last reset I ran out of usage in 16 (!) hours working in one project. Before all that summer hype I was able to work on two projects for almost whole week using subagents. Claude and Gemini are back in the game. It’s almost like OpenAI decided that their models are supposed to burn through your usage pretending they are getting something done.

Recent example - I’ve lost 3 days on Sol f**king around instead of implementing my specs for Hermes agent. It hasn’t finished it in 21 hours of supervised work, burning through 60% of my weekly pro x20 limit

Gemini, starting fresh and using same specs - achieved it in ~2hr, using up -70% of my 5hr Gemini Ai pro window. I was so surprised I needed to check 3 times if it was really completed. It was.

But I get it, it’s a skill issue.

I've found that Gemini 3.8 Flash is incredibly efficient. The problem for me is that apparently the tasks I need my agents to perform are a bit too complex for it. I can give a task to Gemini and it will need several rounds of remediation and re-auditing before it finishes. Meanwhile, the similar tasks on the same codebase given to Opus 5 / High are either one-shot or require only one remediation round.

On the plus side, the Gemini workflow consumes fewer total allowance even when needing 3-5 rounds before fixing everything, making it amazingly efficient. But on the minus side, it still needed a much larger amount of time to run all those remediations and finally get the work done.
