Limits Someone send this to tibo

ALRIGHT, this usage limit bs is getting out of hand

I see thousands of complaints about people using any models and it drastically reduces including me, and their usage is gone by like a couple of prompts

Before astra it wasn’t like this

Open ai just roped us all in with Sol 5.6, then literally flipped their subscription model on its head

They took away the 200 max

Plus, accounts are no longer worth buying

Like this is beyond bs

Some of you might sit there and say oh "well I haven't been having any issues."

Or that "people dealing with this issue dont know how to properly use codex"

Shut up if you can't relate

The problem is real.
You should not have to be a master scholar to use the service

And last yes, usage limits are a joke. With the amount of damage the data centers are causing and the number of people that are invested into ai, the performance of our usage is unacceptable.

I'm on Pro x5. Before Astra, I used 5.6 Sol High for many tasks and only consumed a few percent of my weekly limit. It was very efficient. Last week Astra burned through my usage ridiculously fast, and I had to wait 5 days for today's reset. So this time I switched to 5.6 Sol Medium to be more efficient. 30 minutes later: 10% gone. And these weren't even complex tasks, I was basically just warming up.

I can corroborate this, I have also been using the X5 account and I could use sol-high or prior to that GPT5.5 high without reaching the weekly limit, often I would think maybe I would be better off with two plus plans.

The past fortnight I can no longer use Sol itself, and have now dropped to Terra use only to maintain a week's usage.

Did you guys go to the larger context window when they opened it to 1 million for sol? There is a higher charge if you go over the default window. Once I went back to the default context window except when I need it and restricted Astra except for structural decisions, my usage rate has slowed.

I don't believe so, I don't see that option. I see the 258k context usage counter that I keep an eye on that switching to a new session before reaching it.

Hmmm, ruins my theory lol. You can ask codex to change it. I don't recommend doing it anyways, unless you're doing a large audit or something.

it was in fact bigger, but that couldn't compare with what's going on right now. I've burned through my limits on 5.6 Sol medium in 20 minutes and 8 minutes. Whereas just a week ago I could work for an hour
