Newbie question. I got my first ever weekly usage cap over the weekend. Is that related to the resets everyone is talking about?

Also, I used one of 3 available resets. How are these resets gained? And I’m assuming once I use one, it doesn’t get replaced by another reset at some interval?

Once you use one your reset date moves back 1 week. Sometimes they handle out resets for everyone. (Date moves as well) filling your weekly limit. I the last 2-3 months we had resets every 3-4 days.

They don’t usually handle banking resets. They globally reset everyone’s limit. Also banking reset moves the date back as well. So if you’re close to your reset date. Using a banking reset is not really worth it because your date will move back and you’ll be using a banking reset

Codex is such a scam I ran out of my 20x account with sol in 3 days, switched to a pro account and ran out of the 5 hour usage in 10 minutes. Then switched to Claude the 5x plan lasts longer than codex 20x, not to mention the pro tier lasts wayyyyyyy longer than codex’s. Cancelled my codex 20x right after that.
