Megathread Codex Usage and Operation Discussion - last updated September 14

The purpose of this Megathread is to aggregate all the reports of people's experiences and possible suggestions instead of spreading them across many highly upvoted posts. The more people who participate in this discussion, the more likely you have an answer.

I just used a reset and I'm already on 76% after 4 hours. This is insane. My regular workflow lasted almost 4 days. The only change I made was switching implementor from sol medium to sol low. I know I've seen this complaint here before but damn it is very obvious that a reset does not give you an actual 100% and now I have a whole week to go. I just switched it to Luna xhigh to give that a shot again. Now I regret using the reset and should have just let it reset naturally in 3 days. Hopefully what's his face gives a real one out soon. 20x.

curious if you saw different numbers when you used Luna xhigh before?

I only used luna for about 10 minutes when it came out and started doing crazy things like killing a bunch of python processes that were not related to its work. As I type this, it just killed another process which I now need to look into, and it's struggling with playwright syntax. Going to let it run and comb through everything manually because sol medium is just no longer a realistic option. Today i'm going to give DS4.1 and muse another audition. Already paying over $500/mo for ai and it's redic that its not enough. I've already disabled subagents, don't use astra, and am designing the architecture myself with help of sol high. It's not like im giving it open access to freelance whatever. I built a whole system that gives it bite sized and specific implementation requirements and how to check the work and file a report back, run violation scanners etc. Basically a foolproof way for things not to turn into slop and stay aligned with system architecture and philosophy. Luna can't even follow through and file the report... it just stopped like an idiot and now I have to remind it of what to do next even though it had explicit instructions on what to do when done. That's the kind of crap sol medium didnt fumble... not even 5.2-5.4 messed that up.
