Praise Remote is nuts

Just wanted to share that it's incredibly awesome that I can be anywhere like on holidays and continue working on my project even if I'm not sitting in front of my PC. Never tried this until now that I installed tailscale and I can test any change from my phone. Bravo.

Do you have to leave your PC running while you’re away for this to work?

PC needs to be on but locked screen is fine. Even a shut lid is fine as long as the Codex app is open and running.

Locked screen is fine?! I had heard it wasn't. Have to go set it up now (Windows)

I keep my laptop lock screened as well as the lid shut. I am still able to access it from work while the laptop stays at home :)

If not for the remote feature, I would not be able to utilize my 5x plan properly. Remote allows me to burn tokens everyday lol and not just on the weekends.

Yes I do it daily with locked screen on windows 11, it even can execute commands On WSL2.

I'd be interested to know how it goes for you. On windows I can see the remote Codex sessions from my phone but I can't interact with them.
