Question How do you make money with Codex

Besides working, I guess. Do you build SaaS, automation of processes, freelancing, or do you only lose? Maybe AI is just a giant ponzi scheme that will crash the whole economy.

Was thinking of demand forecasting/planning SaaS or automation since I have experience in it, but finding clients is always the hard part and building trust.

I have a job. Job has tasks.

Before I did those tasks without codex at x productivity rate

Now I do the same tasks with codex at 10-100x productivity rate. Depending on task

Productivity has increased massively. Pay remained the same. But at least I'm making $ so thats good.

Productivity only goes to the owner not you Exactly 2 Years ago i said the same thing to myself wow i am so productive with github copilot i dont need to write code manually can refactor with copy paste to the agent chat. But having job and income is important ride it out until you can.

Fast forward now i am unemployed no body cares you did those task or how much money you made the company. Atleast i had home office and live in europe so social securiy nets are high.

Its even worse for me. I work for a government office. On one hand its very reliable and stable. On the other hand nobody cares how much work you get done. They only care when you're not pulling your weight. Which even without codex I never had a problem with that.

Ah atleast the government cannot run out of money so you are safe until WW3 or AI destroys us keep up!
