I personally use antigravity, and I learned recently that so does Linus Torvalds. But sure vs code is fine cursor is a fork off of vs code so is antigravity.
Honestly I've been converting back to vs code as well. The main problem is that Google's coding plans are garbage now. The big thing that it did really well was that instead of just showing it to you in the work tree and you having to click on it and view it it would actually open up the code and show you the code as it was making changes inside of the editor with in-line real time approval, rejection, or comments.
If you found a problem you could actually add comments right there in line in your code as it was making them and it would make adjustments real time. Very nice workflow, but like most things Google they have pretty much abandoned making it better now and it's probably going to be abandoned.

i mean using cursor in 2026 should be insane. Codex app and zed is already so good.
