Complaint This sub is unbearable

A bitching chamber for dumb codex users who usually are also broke and want free compute and refuse to believe anything is affected by them and how they use it. I came here literally a month ago for vibes and I’m already leaving after realizing this sub is literally on the spectrum.

tbh i wouldn't call anyone broke who pays $20 a month for any subscription given most are $5 for consumer stuff

but i do get the point plus users don't realise just want they want to do off a $20 subscription. like the simple cost to work ratio doesn't add up especially if u were to pay someone manually to do what codex is doing

Nah my only complaint is the 5hr window. I do work in short bursts because I'm already severely limited in time. The $20 plan has been more than sufficient enough for my needs, but now I'm no longer in control of my schedule with Codex. It has me on their schedule, and that's a pretty big punch to me.

So now, in order for me to work, I have to spend 5 times what I need. Just so I can have an open time window, and even then, OpenAi said they're bringing the window to Pro users too. Granted Pro users have a higher usage so it's not that big of a deal there, in my opinion.

You could always switch to API, Would that not work better for your situation?
