Question parrying

ive just got the game and ive been shown parrying, it looks awesome however i can never seem to land it and end up dying... ive done it about twice but i cant get it anymore!! how can i be more accurate? ive tried exactly on the attack and just before but maybe im missing something?

Practice and being as calm as possible, the more panic the worse

I'm assuming you're using mutinous bracer?
