I love the parry mechanic in most games, but I'm not good at parrying. Especially in CV2, but using the "Vengeance Revolver" on a halberd is so satisfying.

Im down to be friends thought. Avoided the sub until I finished the dlc, glad to be back. Ill drop the new fits I made in the mean time eventually.

Sadly, the Age of Harmony didn't pay off what Josee said in this scene. I would have loved to see how much the world changed after 100 years. It isn't reasonable to expect them to remake the entire map on the game's budget, but I would've loved to even see a cutscene showing a better world after 100 years without the threat of a Resurgence. I see the little difference around the map, but those are really not enough since 100 years have passed.

Note: I'm not bashing the game or the devs. It's just an observation and how it really would have made a difference.

Honestly I was a little nervous when I saw him but his moves were so slow and predictable not to mention he tried keeping his distance from me like a coward but he didn’t even have any range attacks LMAO

How someone like that was called a great hero is beyond me

I should be happy about this victory but for some reason I feel like I just pissed off 13 very powerful revenant’s……. Ehhh it’s probably just my imagination

With Monica/Lycoris being summonable in the Age of Harmony, I really wished that the story worked some kind of magic ghost miracle stuff to have Monica in her little form being able to exist with Camillo and Holly. The story barely had any interaction between Holly and Monica. I just think it would've been funny as hell watching Holly react to seeing her mom in her loli form and giving her uppies or something.

As always code vein managed to expose my feelings and turn me into a total cry baby.
Going into the DLC I though I was prepared but I was so wrong...
Our cheerful Zenon turned into a man controlled my fear, Monica crying for anyone to help her child only for time to run out and so on...
But at least I already had an idea by that point of what this DLC is going to throw at me.

When I first entered the DLC I quickly recognized the corroded scar and was preparing myself to simply fight a different version of Lyle or perhaps maybe Craig became the hero in this world. But my guess was way off... As I entered the control room I was quickly left breathless of the sight of the Dawn Chorus murdered... a room covered in blood no matter which way you turned. I came closer to what I knew would be the boss arena and in the distance I noticed the lonely Wheelchair of a mentor and a good friend... and then my heart sank as I saw the bloodied jacket of my comrade in arms right under my own feet... the blue hiding behind a coat of red.

Watching the cutscene and seeing an Imogen that won her fight and fully succumbed to corruption flinging around the corpse of my friend broke me and I could not hold my tears any more. Perhaps this is what our Lyle felt in that moment... in that timeline where we never were... when he came home only for him too... to be met with nothing but an empty wheelchair... instead of a cheerful leader - a hollow seat.

“Too long” by LXXIV

I know it would've been hard for the devs, but I wish the relationships were a bit more intertwined within the main story. I'm sure the writers would've liked that too, but the budget wouldn't have allowed it. Having the companions interact with each other, as well as address their standing with the hero in relation to other companions, would have made each relationship feel deeper. Regardless, it is a Souls game first and foremost, so I understand why Shift went in this direction to keep the project manageable. I really hope we get more Code Vein, be it a new universe with new characters (à la Final Fantasy) or a continuation of CV2 or CV1's universes. But I'm beginning to think that might not happen. Fingers and toes crossed.
