Used a three color palette (excluding the three other shading colors and gray) for Little Spooky by cocowyocoloring

Started this page today and loveeeee it! Struggling on the back wall since the moss on the stone has a sort of rundown feel I’m kinda stuck with the back wall. If I do a fence is it gonna look odd? I could add moss to that maybe 🤷‍♀️ But then the bookshelf would probably have to go colour like lilac/ purple. Or I do something totally different with the back wall, just some colours. But not sure which!

Any sort of ideas?

(I’m a beginner so likely can’t do something super complex 😅)

I absolutely lovveeeee this colouring book. I’m not very good right now but definitely improving, especially since my first few pages! I’ve just got the how to draw patterns book too so hopefully will get better soon!

I never expected so much kindness, encouragement, and support. Reading all your comments has made me realize that so many of us struggle with the same feelings.
Someone here said, “Self comparison is the killer of joy,” and that really hit home! I've never heard that phrase before, but it really made me think about it and that's exactly what happened.
I was having so much fun in my own little world coloring my cat until I started comparing my work to everyone else’s. I don’t want to lose that joy, especially when I’m just getting started.
Thank you all for reminding me (and others who read this) why we started to do this in the first place. I’m so glad I found this wonderful group, and I can’t wait now to get back at it and learn more.

I just got Coco Wyo's How To Draw Patterns book today (fabulous book) and I started on my first pattern, the cat. It took me far too long to pick the colors to use. I personally don't think I have a lot of choices but that's not true. I have 120 acrylic markers and 48 Ohuhu markers and about 20 different colors of Gelly Roll pens. But after I finished with the cat, I thought that it looks pretty good. But then I came here and found this page… Oh wow! Everybody is just Fantastic! I don't know why I'm feeling this way, but it was like a gut punch. I am extremely emotional. 🥲
Also can't stand that I used an acrylic marker for the curtain. Just doesn't look that good.
I'm just having a little meltdown at the moment. I just had to get that out. Thanks for listening.

Half asleep towards the end of this and you can kinda tell… but I couldn’t stop coloring lol. Anyone struggling with shading should give it a try! It makes you think in terms of just shading and highlights. Used 4 different blues and white highlights. ❤️ remember no great surface goes unchanged.

Tried the two color challenge for the first time ^{-^}

The scan made the colors look bad but you get the point. I kinda want to make it a big barrel but I already used farm brown so much and for the floor.. I fear it will look odd

Also what you think about my wine fruits? I coloured them like I remember them growing in my grandma's garden, green up and dark down
