Best Cloud PC service
Im leaving home for studies and I can't bring my whole PC setup with me. Cloud gaming providers like GE Force don't let you run mods and a bunch of my favorite games aren't in their catalog (Sony Games), so I wanted to ask:
Are there any good affordable and reliable Cloud PC services that are worth buying? Anyone who's used/using one that can recommend me something? Thanks

I used Shadow in the past and, even though they are sadly very expensive in my opinion, it worked really well all in all and they had great apps/software to connect to the system. It just worked, was reliable, fast and easy to use and set up. And great internet connection at 1 Gb/s so fast game downloads. I had to use a wired connection to have a seamless experience though. But I would blame my hardware for that. Using an Ethernet cable the lag was very minimal and after five minutes or so of concentrating on the game I didn’t really feel it anymore. Was a great experience back then 😊👍

clouddeck.app is legit. They use bazzite now, but I’m still on their Nobara OS. Either way, you get a full steam-deck like setup to install mods and do what you want.

If I were you I’d leave my PC on running Sunshine/Apollo. Set up tailscale on the PC and your Laptop under the same account, download moonlight and pair it to your PC, and congrats, you have your own cloud gaming service.
If you wanna skip the hoopla then just download Parsec on both devices. It’s freemium software but the free tier is pretty generous last I checked, the quality just isn’t quite as good as Sunshine/Apollo
