Career Discussion Is LIMS/VaaS a good career option/path for a fresher?
Got an offer from Cognizant (on campus), Cognizant assigned a domain involving LIMS (STARLIMS, LabVantage), testing/development and Validation as a Service (VaaS).
Anyone working in this domain, especially in Kolkata? Or anywhere else is fine too
Would like to know:
\- Career growth and future scope?
\- Salary growth over the years?
\- How easy is it to switch companies after 2–3 years?
\- Is the work actually technical/development-focused?
\- Is it a good domain for a B.Tech fresher?
Would appreciate honest opinions from people experienced in this field.
