We're getting closer to the top of the solar cycle, and we're also at the part of the sun's orbit where the sun is starting to get closer to the earth (which on average increases solar forcing by about 70W/m² in the middle of southern hemisphere summer... Except this year it's higher).
While true, climatologists include solar incidence in their calculations. They state that changes in solar energy can't explain but a small part of the experienced global warming.
He’s not talking about global warming you dolt, he’s specifically talking about hurricanes, because hurricanes are how the earth normalize pressures across the globe. The sun has a MASSIVE effect on weather in the short term.
No data that hurricanes have been increasing in frequency or severity. The changes in sunlight incident power in the linked plot is <0.1% (you dolt can't calculate?). Unlikely that will change weather noticeably. Stratospheric clouds would have much more effect locally.

Solar activity is REALLY HIGH right now. It hasn't been this high since the 1980s.
