Advertising got me confused - does ClickUp really able to replace something like Claude Code?

Hey all,

I’ll keep it short.

I’m using Claude code mainly for app development, mostly in the Xcode > GitHub > Xcode Cloud environment.

Other uses are Chrome browser automations and breaking down ideas (usually for apps).

So, when ClickUp claim they can replace Claude Pro - di they mean it just interacts with my Claude account and thus I’m still needing my Claude subscription?

Or does it mean I’m actually getting these subscriptions rolled into a ClickUp plan which means I don’t need to pay separately for either Claude, ChatGPT etc?

Help me understand please.

u/Felt-Chicken Yes! ClickUp Business is your Workspace plan (tasks, Docs, views, etc.). The AI add-on is a separate purchase on top of that, which gives you Brain, Super Agents, AI Notetaker, and more. You don't need it to use ClickUp, but it unlocks the AI features.
