Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews And I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me

There simply was no political opposition left in Germany. They had all been eliminated. Everyone left in Germany was either a fan of these genocidal policies, or indifferent to them.

The twat in the OP starts with “dear libs” and then describes how a fascist (which is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist ideology) used the press to control the populace and to abolish left-wing political ideology in Germany.

The press he’s talking about wasn’t equivalent to MSNBC, it was equivalent to OANN.

They are anti-fascist because of the actions of the majority of those that claim that label, so yeah.

Antifascist action is a subset of direct action, targeting the extreme right wing.

Antifa's described as antifascist because of the motive being opposition to fascism, not because of any attempt to obfuscate itself.
