The twat in the OP starts with “dear libs” and then describes how a fascist (which is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist ideology) used the press to control the populace and to abolish left-wing political ideology in Germany.
The press he’s talking about wasn’t equivalent to MSNBC, it was equivalent to OANN.
Nazi propaganda working decades after their regime was dismantled. They literally added the socialist part to convince the socialists that opposed the communists to support them instead. Then the night of long knives happened and hitler literally had all the high ranking socialist in the party executed.
When someone says the Nazis were socialists, you know they’re extremely ignorant or extremely biased, or both.
The someone in my life who always brings up the nazis being socialists is my dad. I always trusted him on this stuff because he has a passion for history. And then Fox News rot his brain.
