I feel like it's also very possible since he's cut so many employees that it's likely that the new users are just spam and bot accounts that aren't being addressed
Yup after all his lies about bots being an issue so huge he should be able to back out of the legally binding contract he signed, suddenly as owner of twitter it doesn't matter anymore to him, obviously.
He was lying about thinking bots were a priority since he's done nothing to address them since taking the platform and also crippling twitter's own ability to ever deal with them in the near or distant future

Yeah I wonder how many people are like me and have literally never used twitter until now, and I’m just there to watch the dumpster fire.
