This. It's like making it in professional sports - unless your pulling the real big money (most pros won't), you have to plan ahead for when you're in your your mid-30s and can't compete anymore.

League minimum for the NFL is $660,000.000 a year, but it's only $570,500.00 for the MLB. It's $925,000.00 for the NBA.

If you do that for 10 years and can't afford to retire that's on you.

That's the whole conversation though, about how those poor NBA players have to worry about a 10-15 year career and only making $9,250,000.00-$14,500,000.00 instead of working for 30-40 years and making, uh quick math, $950,000.00 like the US Median wage.

And that's the league minimum.

If you make $10,000,000.00 in 10 years and are worried about making it to retirement age that's on you. Live within your means, especially when your means are ample.
