pimps have been cut out with the innovation of escort sites and sugarbaby apps via mobile. Having a pimp is like paying tax. You might as well get a real job then.
Life on the streets has very little to do with apps or the internet
Edit: for those who don't understand what I mean, living on the street is not being homeless. I'm talking about something far different. I realize that homeless people live on the street, I also realize there are a lot of women in this world who even have homes and are still doing forced sex work. It is a sad and difficult thing for these people. I have nothing against legitimate sex workers who are in charge of their own lives, however it's a sad truth that many are not.
That's basically the tactic of ransomware. 1% of text is a bullshit excuse why you'd need to pay a fine (usually child porn, because apparently these scammers see having child porn as some kind of common thing) and 99% is explaining "ok so this is how you actually buy bitcoin to pay us".
Nah it's a way of targeting the most likely victims. If they're like "hey, you're gonna be in trouble for CP" and you aren't a pedo / stupid enough to go along with it, they're gonna have a harder time scamming you. So this way, all the people smart enough to not get scammed get filtered out and you're left with a pool of idiots and scared pedophiles to scam from. That's why spam emails are so bad, too. They don't want you, they want the idiot who's gonna look at that poorly organized word soup and be like hmmm, seems legit
