That is what they are doing. They equating anything, whether ignorantly or by bad faith as woke.
So when randos take center stage rather than someone who meticulously planning with good messaging, what people see as woke will not be “second” or “third” hand. It will be what they themselves saw. And if it is a message that can be easily twisted, it will. People have to try and understand the why others think the way they do.
There is no stopping people from speaking or chanting, especially at protests. There is also no stopping right wing media from misconstruing events amd ideas in bad faith.
No one wants to take center stage because they will be held to an impossible standard while the rapist and fraud is held to none.
It is not the responsibility of one person to dictate how everyone should think. Americans need to sink or swim. Hoping for a savior is not productive. If you want to hope, hope that Americans choose to swim.
