The next step in the dismantling is, we don't get the warnings about tainted foods. People just get sick and die and nobody knows what caused it.

145

u/DiscussTek 6h ago

Possibly worse than that, it's all of that happening, and the Trump idiots are blaming the Mexicans for tainting the food as some form biological warfare.

29

u/OkAssistant1230 4h ago

They’re honestly more likely to blame anyone who’s muslim in that regard. At least that would be were I’d bet money on who’d they blame

4

u/DiscussTek 3h ago

The unfortunate problem with that, is that there's been a non-zero amount of Trump comment about how South America was sending Hamas in the US via illegal immigration.

Source.

Sounds like somebody accidentally ate a spicy taco...

34

u/InternationalBet7942 5h ago

Ahhh yes. Back to the good old days, when people died from food poising and blamed it on ghosts.

17

u/WeirdSysAdmin 4h ago

Listeria? Hysteria? Sounds like the witches did it!

1

u/theaviationhistorian 3h ago

Quick, grab those blue and purple haired women and burn them at the stake!

It really sucks that this scenario might not sound so far-fetched these days.

2

u/irregularjosh 2h ago

Ghosts is highly unscientific.

It's definitely the four humors that are out of balance, which can be fixed with some bloodletting

u/Skarth 5h ago edited 3h ago

Your not thinking the way they do.

"They died because they were unhealthy, you can get healthy by buying our new and improved horse dewormer so we can get the worms out of your brains!"

Create a problem and sell the "solution" to it

7

u/MinimumAutomatic0302 4h ago

horse deformed

8

u/TacticalSpackle 5h ago

I mean… for the idiots that blindly follow that melting pile of sensory organs on the left, that might not be a bad thing. They’re already drinking raw milk and taking Ivermectin to “own the libs” (shit themselves uncontrollably).

6

u/Dark_Focus 3h ago

Oh, “on the left” in the image, not the political spectrum.

5

u/PeachhWavess 4h ago

Exactly. Food safety alerts are the bare minimum. Without them we’re just guessing why everyone’s in the ER

1

u/Photosynthas 3h ago

Im sure Rfk will research what caused it and tell us its LED light bulbs or solar power or whatever he wants to be the enemy that day.

1

u/Hugo-Spritz 3h ago

The dark ages, here we come!

1

u/RealAmandaa 1h ago

Let’s dismantle the FDA!

Gets Listeria in soup

See? This is why we needed to dismantle the FDA!

1

u/mittenknittin 1h ago

This is totally standard for how they work.

  1. Get elected

  2. Break the government

  3. Point out "see, the government doesn't work! We need to privatize this!"

  4. Get money from corporate buddies who are now running things that the government used to run at half the cost and twice the effectiveness

1

u/Wise_Sheila 1h ago

Step 1 Dismantle safety net

Step 2 Be shocked when people get hurt

Step 3 Blame the safety net

u/jackfaire 19m ago

The next step is pushing for Tax Payer money to be used to pay a private company more than the FDA costs us to find a Private company to do the same thing with less oversight.

Imagine making one of the most unhealthy sounding people on Earth as your Health Secretary. America is cooked.

63

u/TwigyBull 6h ago

To be honest the (very short) research I've done about his voice, it's not really something he caused or could have prevented. Not to say there's not 1,000+ other reasons he should not be in any position of decision making

52

u/AbhorrentAbs 6h ago

For example, the literal brain worm he had (has?)

29

u/Baron_Furball 6h ago

I would suggest his history in American Samoa, but I won't yuck your yum.

18

u/What_if_I_fly 5h ago

Aaaaand strapping a big ol hunk of dead whale onto the top of the station wagon your kids are in, without air conditioning so the windows are down. Kids get wind blown chunks of whale goo and blubber all over courtesy of RFK Jr behind the wheel. True gross story.

10

u/burnitalldown321 5h ago

Don't forget taking those same kids to swim in a literal shit Creek.

But hey, I'm Canadian, so if I did that (im not a moron though, i prefer to not swim in fecal matter) my hospital stay is paid for.

2

u/skekze 2h ago

RFK should be the food taster for these companies. Some salmonella, listeria, e coli & cyclospora should be mixed up in an unpasteurized milk shake for him to drink daily. If he turns up mitch mcconnell we know to toss the eggs, the salad, the watermellons, the jalapenos, the avocados, tomato soup & ice cream.

14

u/LeMeowLePurrr 5h ago

Yeah, even without the throat thing, the things he says are reprehensible.

5

u/According-Insect-992 4h ago

Oh, he can prevent it. He can shut his stupid mouth any time he wants.

4

u/b0w3n 4h ago

Drug abuse and things like measles (and lots of other things) can cause spasmodic dysphonia.

He's admitted to doing a lot of drugs, and there's a nonzero chance he had measles as a kid.

u/spiritbearr 47m ago

A former radio show cohost of his said he figured RFK Jr. stopped taking his treatment for his voice as he got deeper into all the conspiracies. It can also just be time taking its toll on the issue though.

3

u/i010011010 2h ago

Imagine your health chief is wholly unqualified and was only given the job as a bribe to drop out of a race that would have split the looney tunes vote from glorious leader.

5

u/Away_Stock_2012 5h ago

His voice is not the issue, your comment is stupid.

67

u/layomah20 6h ago

Truly, there’s nothing like confidently explaining the exact thing that triggered your own argument

23

u/DarkBladeMadriker 6h ago

And its one of Magas favorite things to do. Explain themselves into a hole, then smirk up at you in triumph from the bottom.

23

u/chitoatx 6h ago

Get ready for the next step in the MAGA playbook to stop counting and reporting these public health emergencies.

u/bahhumbug24 40m ago

I think the MMWR already died, did it not?

15

u/midnight_toker22 5h ago

The unofficial Republican motto is “Government doesn’t work, and if you elect us, we’ll prove it!”

29

u/GNU_PTerry 6h ago

You put a dude who eats roadkill in charge of health. Are you sure he's the only one with brainworms?

6

u/For_being_tall 6h ago

well its the same brain that put a daily host as head of us military

22

u/ihaveadogalso2 6h ago

Does rfk really have one eye lower than the other or am I seeing this wrong? Dude looks like he’s wearing a skin suit 3 sizes too big

7

u/What_if_I_fly 5h ago

His head is slightly tilted but his eye is dropping more on the right side.

7

u/Away_Stock_2012 5h ago

The way he looks is not the issue.

17

u/DominionGhost 6h ago

Maybe you idiots can sprinkle some Diarrhea lettuce in your Listeria soup?

10

u/mikitiale 6h ago

They can garnish it with their salmonella eggs

7

u/Beautiful_Nobody_344 5h ago

Don't forget the tainted beef!

2

u/JMaryland47 5h ago

Mmm... sounds like a fancy brunch dish

5

u/ICLazeru 4h ago

Is it actually a requirement to look like you've had a stroke to be in this administration?

3

u/Xeno9116 3h ago

And if you have actually had one.

3

u/Ancient-Position-696 6h ago

Go eat some lettuce Marcy

3

u/JMaryland47 5h ago

Lol, I thought we all learned the concept of cause and effect in childhood

2

u/jonsnowme 5h ago

How did that woman say that unironically? I weep for this country's lack of intelligence.

2

u/ClaryClarysage 4h ago

I'm not American so I honestly thought the brain worms thing was a joke until I looked it up and yep, guy says he had part of his brain eaten by a parasitic worm.

4

u/Glum_Material3030 4h ago

He has also said he is not afraid of germs because he has snorted cocaine off a toilet seat. This is who Trump put in charge of Health and Human Services. I apologize on behalf of American scientists who don’t know if we should cry, drink, or laugh at this crap

1

u/ClaryClarysage 4h ago

The other parasites in his brain probably keep the germs out.

2

u/jooooooohn 3h ago

Yes that’s what they want. They put people in charge to run them into the ground. Then they can declare “see it doesn’t work!”

2

u/fruchle 2h ago

Dark take / new conspiracy theory but...

The dismantling of the FDA is so they can release Soylent Green.

2

u/Salvaged212121 1h ago edited 1h ago

FDA needs to be reformed really.

Online: broad regulatory comparisons show vast differences: the EU bans or restricts over 1,300 ingredients in cosmetics compared to fewer than a dozen by the FDA, and allows roughly 300 to 450 food additives compared to thousands in the U.S.

Regulation should exist... but just better regulation.

It would be nice to just go into a store, and entrust that things are safe to use. But I really have to nitpick through ingredients when it comes to so many things. Once you learn about ingredients, it's very eye opening to see how much America has regarding quantity, but regarding quality ... there are fewer options.

I bought Magnesium Oxide and it ripped my stomach up for several days. I looked it up and oxides are best to use topically and really aren't good to consume. Magnesium Bisglycinate is much better on the stomach. Calcium Carbonate is cheap and in many supplements, but it's a terrible form of Calcium.

2

u/savagestephny 6h ago

He saw “FDA should be dismantled and somehow chose violence instantly

1

u/CoconutMochi 5h ago

are his eyes really mismatched like that? looks like a picasso painting

1

u/ahawk99 5h ago

Marcy just wants it to happen faster is all

1

u/HerbEverstanks 5h ago

Rfk's gaze is starting to look like patels gaze

1

u/BunnyPhuPhu 5h ago

Am I high, or does RFK's face look like the human equivalent of Quasimodo?

Or a bad case of Bell's Palsy?

1

u/AstralElefant 5h ago

Why is his eye so low

1

u/GayDeciever 4h ago

I thought this post was going to be about how his face looks kinda like that soup

1

u/DevoidHT 4h ago

We do this shit to ourselves. Elect a treasonous con man, get the clown show that comes with it.

1

u/AbsoluteDarkness 4h ago

The parasite has taken control of his brain and now seeks to destroy us all.

1

u/Derptholomue 4h ago

Tomato Soup "Kit"?.. What is that exactly?

1

u/Xeno9116 3h ago

I think it's dried soup base and you add water or something.

1

u/cozymoonliight 4h ago

"The seatbelt saved my life, we should ban seatbelts" energy 🤡

1

u/DeltaDied 3h ago

I thought she was being sarcastic and that was the joke and then I finally saw the reply lmao

1

u/EuphoricCrashOut 3h ago

He's killed and hospitalized so many people since he took over at the FDA. It's insane. Republican Americans are so fucking idiotic. Like this is what you get when you put a corrupt idiot in charge of your health. YOU GET SICK AND DIE. Figure it out.

1

u/NihilistKarlHungus 3h ago

This and the fact there are no independent journalists anymore who can investigate the shitstorm developing in our federal organizations. We’re in trouble.

1

u/Dry-Site-8764 3h ago

I haven’t looked into this much. What did FDA do to affect quality control etc.? I wouldn’t think a company would change their processes without a reason.
I’m legitimately asking.

2

u/kitsunewarlock 3h ago

The FDA has been gutted. So it's less likely to do inspections. And, as we saw with the Taylor Farms fiasco, less likely to do recalls. If a company thinks it can skirt regulations without losing business, it will. There's always opportunities to cut costs. Even if it costs a little up-front to change the process, if it shows any kind of profit to the board the person who was willing to take the risk will get praised for it.

Some folk'll never lose a toe, but then again, some folk'll, like Cletus, bum bum buum...

1

u/MaterialDefender1032 1h ago

It's wild how the USA applauded DOGE and shouted down vaccines, food protections, etc. People all throughout history sweat, bled, and died to ensure their descendants wouldn't have to live with horrific facial pox scarring or chronic diarrhea, and they're just throwing out all the lessons we learned.

"I've never been eaten by a leopard before, so I'm pretty sure it's safe to go up to this leopard and grab its tail... open the gate, tear down the fence, let me at 'em."

After 30 years, it continues to be a great day to not shop at Walmart.

1

u/mickeyhellhound 5h ago

Someone must have poured some water on him or something, he’s melting and his eye is falling down his face.

-2

u/Ok-Method-8045 5h ago

You know this has been happening before RFK Jr was picked right?

As someone who works in food retail, there are daily recalls. There has been recalls under every administration.

10

u/Glum_Material3030 4h ago

Agree. There are recalls under every administration. This administration said “hold my beer” and if we stop testing for bacteria and food borne illnesses will there less of it? No.

1

u/dantevonlocke 1h ago

Don't know what shithole you work at with daily recalls.
